Vincent Grégoire is co-founder and Chief Data Scientist of Berkindale Analytics, Montréal-based startup. Their AlphaBook platform is a next-generation cloud-based solution that provides financial market data and on-demand analytics. At Berkindale, Vincent oversees the development of analytics and AI-driven insights.
Vincent is also a tenured associate professor of finance at HEC Montréal, where he holds a research professorship in financial big data analytics. He is a member of the scientific council of Compute Quebec.
He was previously an assistant professor of finance at the University of Melbourne and taught finance courses at the University of British Columbia and Laval University. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of British Columbia and an MSc in Financial Engineering, an MSc in Electrical Engineering (computer vision), and a BEng in Computer Engineering (intelligent systems) from Laval University. He is a CFA Charterholder.
